The exhibition communicates how medicine is created, from the initial ‘hit’ through to a promising ‘lead’. The story starts with medical chemistry moving on to test in vitro and the different parameters that a strong “canditate” (= a promising formulation) is subjected to.
The panels are backlit and use 3D imagery on cellular level combined with thin illustrations of the research tools. The exhibitions are located within different areas of R&D at LEO Pharma
My name is Ulla Korgaard and I work and teach within the field of graphic design.
I am based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but lived in Australia for 10 years where I achieved my degree in Design, Visual Communication, from University of Technology, Sydney in 1994. Since then I have been working on a broad range of visual communication projects for a variety of clients.
My attitude to design is creative and strategic. Effective graphic design is a means to uniquely communicate and convey the right message to the relevant audience.
